Review for Phoenix Imaging

If you want to separate yourself from the crowd then Phoenix Imaging is the company to contact. Until recently I hadn’t seen any of their parts in person. I had seen them on websites but you don’t really have the full effect until you see it in person.

This stuff is amazing. The final product is a show quality finish. The process is called Hydro-Graphics. It’s a complex process that Phoenix Imaging has perfected. They do this process on just about any solid surface. They cannot do it on wood (unless it's a really hard wood or has been sealed), foams or soft type items that cannot be dipped in water. But pretty much everything else can be done. They specialize in automotive interior items such as radio bezels, dash parts, door pulls, etc. But they will do cell phone faces, video game units, lamps and much more.

This is a total hands on process. From beginning to end it is hand worked. It starts by putting several coats of primer on the part, and then sanding the primer smooth. Then it gets base coated and dipped in the look you request. Once the part has been dipped and cured it goes to clear coat. They put 4 coats of clear on each part. That makes their stuff very durable and it will last a long time.

They have many choices of textured looks to choose. Wood grain finishes; carbon fibers, brushed aluminums and granites are just a part of the selection. You can have any color you want. They can match your exterior paint color or do a custom color that you chose.

I have added pictures to this review but they don’t do this product justice. This is something you have to see in person to be able to judge the quality. I have the major parts of my dash done in my F150. I can’t go thru a drive up window without someone commenting on it. I even had my engine compartment parts done. I’ve painted those parts before but nothing compares to the look that Phoenix Imaging can give to your parts.
